£20 an hour (minimum charge)

My hourly rate is £20 an hour.

This is excluding any hair extensions, wraps or accessories etc.

Partial dreadlocks (3-4 rows) take anywhere from 4 hours

Full head of dreadlocks can take anywhere from 8 hours

This is the most natural and reasonably priced way to have your dreadlocks, however if you want to extend your natural hair please visit "Dreadlock Extensions" tab here

One of the most common questions I get asked is,

"please can you make my dreads look like this photo"

Whilst I always make every effort to consult with you throughout the process, it is your hair's thickness and distribution which will ultimately dictate the end result. Of course you can (within reason) decide how thick you want each dreadlock (section) to be, however the thicker the dreadlock - the fewer dreads there will be.

I always recommend future clients to watch this little video as I think it illustrates what I am trying to say.

I also install, remove and refit synthetic dreadlocks

Synthetic Dreadlocks

Synthetic dreadlocks (despite the name) actually come in all sorts of materials.

They can also be natural wool.

These can be so much fun and they are only temporarily braided into your existing hair.

I do not make these dreadlocks myself as I am only part time, however Etsy have some great ones available to suit a range of budgets.

If it is the first time you are having these installed - they can be itchy. Please bare this in mind - I never advise spending too much on your first set in case the discomfort can not be tolerated.

That said, there are many beautiful ones ranging from natural hair tones to an array of fun, bright colours.

They're a great idea if you are not sure if you want to commit to real dreadlocks.
